[15:58:42] + cardboardbox I find a lot of documentation is like that, often something is assumed.

[16:01:52] + cardboardbox I installed Arch. I managed to get a basic gentoo setup, but I didnt edit the kernel config file much just threw everything in there

[16:04:43] + cardboardbox gcc is more than half of the download when downloading base-devel.

[16:04:59] + cardboardbox i had to edit the pacman.conf to only download one file at once on this slow data.

[16:05:11] + cardboardbox I wanted to do some programming so i thought of downloading it.

[16:18:20] + cardboardbox That and irc can be fun sometimes. I'm on here even when my internet is normal.

[16:18:36] + cardboardbox though since I have slow internet I'm less distracted from chat.
