Channel Log

How channel logging works, privacy, retention, and export options.

When logging is enabled, the channel bot records:

  • Messages and actions (/me)
  • Joins, parts, quits
  • Nick changes, mode changes, topic changes
  • Kicks

Logs are searchable and can be made private (channel admins only).

Retention depends on the channel and network configuration. Logs may be limited by time or message count. See the Privacy FAQ and Privacy Policy for details.

Channel admins can search, filter, bulk delete, and export logs (e.g. RAW/mIRC format) from the channel log page. Use !admin rmlog in IRC to remove specific messages.
