What is channel news

Channel news lets admins post announcements that appear on the channel page. These updates can inform visitors about releases, events, or important changes.

Where to manage

As a channel admin, open your channel's page and go to the News section. You can add, edit, and remove news items. News entries typically support a title, content (markdown), and optional date.

Display

News is shown on the channel page, usually in reverse chronological order (newest first). Visitors can read announcements without joining IRC.
