Gaining Access to an IRC network's admin page
Prerequisites
Before you submit a request to gain access to a network be sure the following requirements are meant:
- You are connected to the IRC network in question.
- You have /oper'd to your o-line
- You do not have anything hiding your OPER mode.
- You do not have anything preventing you from being NOTICE'd by an unregistered user.
Submit the request
The first step is to submit your nickname.
- Visit the "Gain Access" page for the network (This can be found on the network page tabs)
- Enter your nickname in the field
- Submit the form
The next step, if you came across no errors is to check your IRC client. As long as you followed the prerequisites from earlier, a bot will connect to your network, verify your OPER identity and send you a confirmation link via NOTICE if you passed the check.
- Copy or click the URL provided
- Visit network page
- Comfirm "Network Admin" tab has replaced the "Gain Access" tab
If the bot fails for any reason, you will have to resubmit the check again
