[03:37:40] KnownSyntax Called GM to drop my personal claim against them (as the lawyer suggested because I forgot). They call me to tell me that's a bad idea and I won't get a buy back/repurchase that route. I told them "yeah, I am sure I will so let's close this". Dealership calls me 3 hours later to tell me GM sent them an email to tell me to drop my legal presence (lawyer) so they can offer me what I want, as through the law firm they will not offer

[03:38:14] KnownSyntax me anything. I lol'd, what a shitty tactic to pay less for my buy back (they have to pay lawyer fees on my behalf). My lawyer already has confirmation GM Legal is repurchasing through them as well once I drop this case, so priceless AF

[03:40:18] KnownSyntax To note as of last week GM would have to pay the firm $2.75K. That number has risen significantly due to all of the additional emails and shit GM pulled which costs more hours. Law firm is like $575/hr for the lawyer + $250/hr for the assistant and other fees
