[19:25:02] newton if I want to live in the Seattle area I'm probably looking at a $600-700 loan? but I want to do a down payment that keeps the mortgage payment reasonable

[19:25:16] newton but atm I think I'd drain my cash doing that down payment so I'm gonna put it off a little longer to build that up

[20:01:39] newton the other side is I recently got a promotion that makes me comfortable with the loan size & mortgage payment but with the tech layoffs I wanna make sure I don't buy a house then get axed
