[17:41:29] daniel2 well KnownSyntax, finally done with this shit. Going to start actively looking for a new job.

[17:54:19] daniel2 Ever since I brought up grievances against my manager to his manager, who went and shared everything I said back to him, and got me chewed out. He's been micromanaging me more and more, getting on about everything. Now basically telling me he plans on removing me from the supervisor position. Pretty much was pretty rude in the way he said it.
[17:55:25] daniel2 Its funny because he's the only one thinks that. The sr managers like me. My team likes me. Everyone has given compliments. He's the only one with a problem.
[17:55:31] daniel2 And he didn't start having that problem until that incident.

[19:34:57] KnownSyntax Yeah that's the issue I had. My manager was dope, but my director was a cock. Basically told me that I’m not getting a promotion, even though I was running as the only LVL IV on the org for us since I knew everything.
[19:35:51] KnownSyntax Basically why I left, because toxic management is not worth the hassle if they make your life hell (like what happened to me, tried to throw me under the bus many times when things didn’t go the way he wanted even when I said it wouldn’t work well beforehand).
[21:47:19] KnownSyntax Hopefully, you find a better gig though, that is less toxic overall. Sucks shitty management doesn’t get the boot but others who say they are toxic get retaliated against until they jump ship or jump teams.
