[19:24:18] EdgyGates I consider a "hacker" someone who goes above the level of using metasploit or some public github tool

[19:27:20] EdgyGates thats why theres the term "Script Kiddy". What separates a hacker from a script kiddy I believe is your knowledge on how to utilizes public and private tools and to understand the vectors in which your exploiting a system or thing

[19:29:02] EdgyGates that and they dont full understand the vector in which they are hacking

[19:29:08] EdgyGates they are just using the tool and no more

[19:31:33] EdgyGates Its honestly not too difficult to crack most offline software. With IDAPro and a basic understand of x86 Assembly and you will be surprised how easy it is to crack most software

[19:32:19] EdgyGates just changing a few jump conditions is enough to crack most software

[19:34:07] EdgyGates I've cracked software for my own personal use. Never would distribute my cracks publicly but honesty its kinda fun to do. I look at it as a CTF

[19:35:55] EdgyGates Its also better to crack your self then to trust some crack from the internet for software you want to pirate. You know with more certainty that the software your using isnt backdoored

[19:38:19] EdgyGates but if lets say its a known forum user who has a very good reputation for release working cracks then I wouldnt be too woried

[19:38:41] EdgyGates but if your trusting some random fucking youtuber for a crack for photoshop that has like 10 subscribers

[19:38:43] EdgyGates your a dumbass

[19:40:28] EdgyGates it sucks they removed likes and dislikes because it was a decent tool to figure out the legitimacy of software a youtuber was showing

[19:41:05] EdgyGates not amazing since likes and comments can be botted but its just an additional layer of proof thats gone now
