[17:04:05] herald virtual_transport parameter specifies the default delivery transport for virtual alias domains, while transport_maps specifies the transport mapping table for message delivery.

[17:04:21] herald When Postfix receives an email message, it first checks whether the recipient is listed in the virtual alias domains specified by virtual_transport. If the recipient is found in a virtual alias domain, Postfix uses the transport specified by virtual_transport for delivery.
