[03:26:41] ski ComputerTech : dark theme looks okay, to me
[03:28:56] ski hm, guess i might've used a separate boolean, which is toggled, while also setting the opacity from that
[03:42:08] ski ComputerTech : hm, guess you could use `word.slice' for `typeLetter' as well
[04:48:17] ski i thught it was just for women, but i dunno
[04:48:31] ski (with "-kun" for weremen)
[04:49:13] ski okay, boys too
[04:49:24] ski (also, there's "-sama")
[04:50:05] ski "highly honored", i think i saw it explained as, somewhere
[04:50:19] ski (or maybe it was "highly esteemed")
[04:50:48] ski women could be called "-san", as well ?
[04:53:10] ski right, that's what i thought
[04:53:28] ski (then there's "senpai")
[04:58:23] ski .. a few days ago, at another network
[05:03:52] ski Naruto is some person in an anime, yes ?
[05:07:29] ski (shoujo vs. shonen ?)
[05:09:47] ski Death Note was okay. moreso, the earlier parts
[05:10:19] ski check your manga store, i guess
[05:11:26] ski yea, i guess it is
[05:13:21] ski i liked Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind. the manga. the anime felt too short. perhaps because i saw it after
[05:13:35] ski login : or "idiot"
[05:16:01] ski Sailor Moon was kinda fun, in a silly way. the RPG game "Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon: Another Story" (SNES) isn't too bad
[05:17:04] ski yea, login
[05:21:07] ski (thanks to Doki Doki Literature Club)
[05:22:41] ski so you have to know where words end and start ?
[05:22:58] ski (hm, may've seen the word "Jisho" before)
[05:24:44] ski mhm
[05:25:44] ski probably i've seen the latter, somewhere, then, and overgeneralized
[05:25:57] ski sentence endings ?
[05:26:19] ski (if you had said "word endings", i'd think i understood)
[05:26:56] ski login : not that i know much about such things, but i guess those are more commonly thrown around
[05:28:21] ski Gentoo : so it's similar to when you look for some irregularly conjugated verb, perhaps in french, and you can't find it in the dictionary, since it's only listed under the main form of the verb, which looks completely different ?
[05:30:26] ski (login : anyway, "dandere" is a shy one. "deredere" is just a sweet one in general, i think)
[05:33:07] ski not starting with Monogatari Genji, then
[05:33:52] ski .. apparently vignettes for that symbolically represent all partitions of a five-element set
[05:35:00] ski search for "Genji" in <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Partition_of_a_set>
[05:40:19] ski the golden ones tend to be
[05:42:19] ski .. i wonder whether there's any rhyme or reason to the particular ordering of the partitions, used in the Monogatari Genji
[05:43:07] ski you mean katakana and hiragana ?
[05:43:33] ski so rows and columns can be more or less randomly permuted, depending on which presentation you're looking at ?
[05:43:42] ski yea, for kanji, it makes sense
[05:43:48] ski wait, for romaji ?
[05:45:27] ski .. anyway, these chapter vignettes are not any of the usual japanese character glyphs, but some custom "square comb" symbols used there
[05:46:03] ski mhm
[14:18:05] ski (combining characters ?)
[17:11:55] ski good evening, Saphir :)
[17:14:41] ski ComputerTech : i guess you saw my comment on the javascript on your site
[17:16:18] ski yea, CT
[17:16:23] ski nah, no burning
[17:16:50] ski .. for scientific purposes
[17:17:58] ski <ski> ComputerTech : dark theme looks okay, to me
[17:18:05] ski <ski> hm, guess i might've used a separate boolean, which is toggled, while also setting the opacity from that
[17:18:11] ski <ski> ComputerTech : hm, guess you could use `word.slice' for `typeLetter' as well
[17:18:14] ski (was what i said)
[17:20:26] ski what were you looking for, h4 ?
[17:21:01] ski (MAGIC's in Limburg ?)
[17:21:14] ski 1
[17:21:38] ski not really
[17:21:43] ski oh
[17:21:59] ski just wondering about you saying "<h4> but not what i was looking for")
[17:22:29] ski ripping some CDs music for you, ComputerTech
[17:28:39] ski perhaps some hand-drawn images, maybe of farmstead, with houses and such ?
[20:34:38] ski phone ?
[20:57:59] ski what's worsened, Samantha, ooc ?
[20:59:09] ski moved out to suburbs, or more countryside, or smaller town ?
[21:00:10] ski or don't know anything else
[21:04:22] ski old cities, having a more fractal city layout (with lots of small local centres), can feel nicer that more modern ones (where you have large districts with only residential, districts with shopping, &c., and where it's often hard to get anywhere you need to, without using a car (as opposed to walking, or bike, e.g.))
