[13:36:34] jmjl How can I fix a mdadm disk array?
[13:37:00] jmjl I've accidentally marked a disk for replacement
[13:45:39] jmjl I get mdadm: Cannot open /dev/nvme0n1p3: Device or resource busy
[17:28:27] jmjl h4: what error does bughunt currently have?
[21:25:43] jmjl ComputerTech: I am having a weird behaviour with ufw
[21:25:51] jmjl could you try to replicate it somewhere?
[21:26:36] jmjl it's blocking a port it shouldn't
[21:26:44] jmjl it's configured to not block
[21:27:15] jmjl [23] 22000/tcp ALLOW IN Anywhere
[21:27:43] jmjl Aug 28 22:49:19 nuc kernel: [6241150.034799] [UFW BLOCK] IN=ppp0 OUT= MAC= SRC=81.34.128.193 DST=213.139.10.100 LEN=40 TOS=0x00 PREC=0x20
[21:27:43] jmjl TTL=54 ID=0 DF PROTO=TCP SPT=22000 DPT=22000 WINDOW=0 RES=0x00 RST URGP=0
[21:27:52] jmjl yep
[21:28:01] jmjl ComputerTech: that's the syncthing port, it shouldn't block it
[21:28:41] jmjl But the rule allows it, so it's weird not letting me
[21:28:59] jmjl ComputerTech: could a allow fwd make the later rule fail?
[21:30:14] jmjl moved the rules to the bottom manually, let's see
[21:30:49] jmjl seems to not log
[21:30:55] jmjl let's restart my syncthing clients
[21:31:51] jmjl seems to not log
[21:32:04] jmjl !bang
[21:32:07] jmjl ComputerTech: thanks
[21:33:04] jmjl I guess that was it
[21:33:05] jmjl so weird
[21:35:11] jmjl I just noticed I doxed my IP lol
[21:36:01] jmjl Ziginox: not really, one of them is public, but the private one is dynamic, and I really don't think anyone here wants to ddos me, and if they were to, I could just restart the router
[21:36:48] jmjl wof: lazy, I'd have to get up and restart it
[21:37:15] jmjl Does anyone have any idea on how to root a amazon kindle (2006 version)?
[21:37:56] jmjl oh
[21:39:15] jmjl !bang
[21:39:24] jmjl oh
[21:39:34] jmjl !duckstats Ziginox
[21:40:02] jmjl oh lol
[21:40:06] jmjl !topducks
[21:40:08] jmjl !duckfriends
[21:40:10] jmjl !heop
[21:40:43] jmjl ComputerTech: do you personally send the cash via UPS or USPS?
[21:40:51] jmjl oh
[21:41:00] jmjl that's not cash :P
[21:41:25] jmjl Ziginox: I got a old kindle, and I'm able to buy books and extract the epubs using the calibre desktop app
[21:41:40] jmjl Has anyone here at least partially (more than 50%) read the Pro Git book?
[21:42:16] jmjl Ziginox: are you able to use the eshop or not?, I am unable on mine
[21:43:53] jmjl Ziginox: I haven't been able to test that, as I don't have any books that I could loan, and I bought some books before I got the kindle, but I've just injected a few books onto it using calibre, which were the clifm manpage, the bash manpage and the pro git book. I am thinking about which manpages to load
[21:44:55] jmjl Ziginox: I don't know if I'd be able to get one, but I don't have one
[21:45:34] jmjl and I don't think they have, I'd have to ask, but I think they don't as in their usage guide, it said it was mostly for the us.
[21:45:38] jmjl and I am outside of the us.
[21:46:42] jmjl Harzilein: oh, I thought the manpage was a good resource for learning bash
[21:46:57] jmjl the clifm manpage is quite nice, but I think I got addicted to the git book a bit too much.
[21:47:50] jmjl yeah, if you could link to some article it'd be nice to learn
[21:48:38] jmjl On a completly unrelated note, I got a nfc like card reader and writer, and using it with my computer I was able to clone a access card for a location, and they told me it worked :P
[21:49:18] jmjl Harzilein: have you jailbroken yours?
[21:50:29] jmjl thanks, I'll note that
[21:51:29] jmjl https://lifehacker.com/how-to-jailbreak-your-kindle-1783864074, I don't know if I should follow this guide
[21:52:43] jmjl Kindle 4 NoTouch Silver (2011)
[21:53:09] jmjl That's my model based on the serial
[21:56:28] jmjl thanks
[21:56:53] jmjl Thanks for the info, what model do you have?
[21:57:53] jmjl Could you link to the tutorial you followed
[21:58:38] jmjl Harzilein: are you able to relink the kindle to the webstore account?
[21:59:00] jmjl Harzilein: (whilist still being able to download ebooks and manually send them to the kindle using calibre)?
[22:02:21] jmjl Ziginox: first, I could use whispersync if I wanted, but it's a bit anoying, and I like sending the books manually, and I get a bit annoyed having to use email, and I think it overrides the author field.
[22:02:44] jmjl Ziginox: we see something like that when we click on the goto store button
[22:03:45] jmjl Ziginox: so,
[22:04:13] jmjl If I jailbroke it I'd lose the ability to use whispersync, and I'd also lose the ability to decrypt ebooks?
[22:04:37] jmjl ComputerTech: you get free epubs?
[22:04:42] jmjl or do you have to pay for them?
[22:05:10] jmjl Are they epubs or are they integrated in the app?
[22:05:20] jmjl Ziginox: I have one of such devices
[22:05:20] jmjl nice
[22:05:22] jmjl oh
[22:07:09] jmjl I have access to a odilotk.es instance, if anybody knows how to get epubs or decrypted books to load onto a kindle, it'd be nice to know
[22:07:34] jmjl Ziginox: calibre will get those books borrowed from this website?
[22:08:58] jmjl Ziginox: I can try to find out if you want
[22:10:10] jmjl I am getting confused between Harzilein (which owns a old Kindle) and Harzilein which gives information from reddit and the internet, sorry
[22:11:46] jmjl Ziginox: I can download a Adobe Digital Editions file, I don't know what to do with it
[22:14:47] jmjl Ziginox: easy means setting up wine, fun
[22:15:47] jmjl I will dig deeper
[22:32:50] jmjl ComputerTech: I got the pixel 6a because it was a bit cheaper
[22:34:06] jmjl Ziginox: a weird thing with nfc is that they limit you what you cand do
[22:34:23] jmjl For example, you can't send the chinese jailbreak for some nfc tags using android
[22:34:34] jmjl (you'd have to root it)
[22:34:47] jmjl Ahsoka: have you installed a custom rom to your phone?
[22:35:24] jmjl lol, today I have installed flatpak to use bottles
[22:36:53] jmjl Ziginox: I'd like to get out of graphene
[22:37:11] jmjl but I have too much unbackeable up data on the device
[22:37:17] jmjl and I don't know how to back it up
[22:37:55] jmjl Ziginox: What OS would you install if it where the case that you had a Pixel 6a that you didn't want to run directly google services.
[22:38:18] jmjl I'd like to prefereably have google wallet work
[22:43:36] jmjl Ziginox: why didn't you find it usefull?
[22:44:09] jmjl Harzilein: I have read about it but I didn't quite like their dependency on their own things
[22:44:32] jmjl Ziginox: so you were able to play tetris there or not?
[22:46:09] jmjl Harzilein: and if all I just want is the experimental browser to work how would I do it?
[22:46:17] jmjl it doesn't break because of a too old certificate store
[22:47:59] jmjl Harzilein: so I could technically use the kindle as a small key store?
[22:48:06] jmjl a safe key store for mny ssh keys?
[22:48:15] jmjl not safe in the sense to not be able to be haked
[22:54:47] jmjl Ziginox: I meant loading a custom script and ssh keys in such a way such that the computer can only use the keys after aprobal in the kindle, such that whilst not manipulated, a third party without the kindle can't gain access to my ssh servers
[22:57:13] jmjl ok, I might jailbreak it later, I will try to read first on everything
[22:59:41] jmjl Fun Dot.net
[23:06:09] jmjl I think I alredy got a adobe account lol
[23:12:35] jmjl I got an norton ad lol
[23:42:22] jmjl Yeah, I guess I should sleep, but lazy, and I want the book on the kindle to read now
[23:42:26] jmjl lol
[23:48:35] jmjl I fail to get Dotnet installed
