[08:27:27] BlackSnow i had a tensioner pully wheel bearing fall apart while i was doing like 80 on the highway, pulled over and because you have to remove an engine mount to change the belt i just pulled it off to the side and closed the hood on it while i drove to the autopart store

[08:45:34] BlackSnow obviously that makes it my fault so im responsible to fix their liftgate and i dont have a job still plus my van got pretty badly fucked up

[09:04:26] BlackSnow it turned out to be the spark plugs never got replaced and the transmission fluid filter fell out and was just floating in the pan so it couldnt suck up any fluid

[09:05:51] BlackSnow so i replaced the plugs, coil, distributor cap, and plug wires, then replaced the filter and aded a retention clip made for the 4x4 guys to fix that issue

[09:06:44] BlackSnow and it literally ran like new and doesent really leak anything other then the input shaft seal

[09:08:31] BlackSnow my 92 was the same but the trans blew on that one and i could either spend 2k on a reman transmission to install myself or just buy this other van

[09:10:29] BlackSnow thats why i like 90s stuff, enough tech to be more reliable then older stuff but not so much tech that it creates problems

[09:12:43] BlackSnow well im just saying my 1998 buick lesabre i got for free, it sat for 13 years i brought a new battery and an air pump, pumped the tires, pulled the plants out of the engine bay, dropped in the new battery, fired it up and drove it home

[09:14:32] BlackSnow only real issue i had with that car was BCM malfunctioned and wouldnt let me start the car because of the security system

[09:15:43] BlackSnow i bought a module that replaces the BCM from a site called New Rockies, it was a few hundred bucks but ive never had an issue ever again, it basically completely bypasses the security system

[09:17:11] BlackSnow it has like 20 tiny switches on the board that you switch in a specific configuration for your specific model, but if you tell them your model when you order it they do it for you
