[20:14:32] HelderHeid i had sinusitis once and this russian girl first gave me a shot of vodka with a bunch of black pepper - lolz that took my head off - but 30 secs later i could feel the heat hit my eardrums and whoosh! my sinuses drained right out

[20:14:59] HelderHeid it sounds weird but is really nice if you need it

[20:15:14] HelderHeid the trick is it needs to be hot

[20:15:27] HelderHeid anyway, i was essentially right as rain the next morning

[20:15:45] HelderHeid and her comment was - in russia we don't have medicines - the folk remedies have to work

[20:16:01] HelderHeid this was shortly after the collapse of the soviet union

[20:16:31] HelderHeid put plenty of black pepper in it

[20:16:48] HelderHeid it's the combo of it being hot + actual juice

[20:17:22] HelderHeid i find whilst i'm feeling crap i want it hot and as i get better i gradually switch to cold
