[06:44:48] Talon should be workin on my latest idea extending DCC. I wanna make a VCHAT protocol for my client so users can peer-to-peer voice/video conference.

[06:49:49] Talon it's the same as my pure-web one, except using electron I got the power of node instead of soley browser js (which gives me raw sockets) so I can connect to servers that don't support websockets (IRCv3)

[06:51:27] Talon with that comes a few perks, like the ability to do whatever the hell I want for a protocol, and I figure why not try to sort-of get discord and IRC to merge by mimicing the voice channels, where I can "invite" people to my conference.
[06:52:26] Talon granted it'd only be good small scale and based on your connection I'm sure, because the "host" would be handling not only the incomming of all those streams but the relay to the other clients as well lol
[06:53:42] Talon one of the main arguments I get over tryin to get ppl to still use IRC is there's no voice/video calls like discord lol.. so im gonna make a protocol
