[14:58:15] HelderHeid BASF just had dwindling orders - if you ever saw certain yellow cars - they were mostly that - the art industry didn't order enough to maintain production

[15:00:04] HelderHeid was talking with a work colleague and he found a youtube comparing the basf pigment with the new mix and ouch you can see how inferiour the new mix to mimic the old pigment is

[15:01:00] HelderHeid the "hues" are nearly always mixes

[15:01:14] HelderHeid but the main artist's colours are a mix now as well

[15:02:32] HelderHeid the main problem is the new new gamboge - the pigments separate out from the youtube i saw - not suprised really

[15:07:02] HelderHeid i think, if you're lucky, you can still stumble upon people still selling old stock and get the pigment
