[19:59:58] elcasey I grew up in a great place with loads of woods and there was snakes everywhere and quail and all that's been gone for decades

[20:00:51] elcasey i used to catch garters and black snakes and keep them a few days and then turn them loose when I was a kid

[20:01:10] elcasey after I got a bit a few times it wasn't scary anymore (obviously making 1000x sure it was nonvenomous :P)

[20:04:15] elcasey I was super into it, I wanted some job related to herpetology, the lot. This was back when they had the huge reptile show in orlando too
