[15:31:40] elcasey norex: lol yeah not brimming with delight at the fact it's a 737 MAX 8 (I only ever flew on pre-MAX 737s before, but done well over 50 flights on them)

[15:32:25] elcasey I prefer Airbus in general but all the US carriers seem to have replaced most of their A330s with 737s of some variety

[15:33:37] elcasey I was Delta Platinum, I had everything setup perfectly, was gonna be top class all the way, flying on their A350 flagship ...

[15:34:21] elcasey this was in 2020, so they went pandemic-mad, canceled all my shit, and I ended making the entire trip to Istanbul and back in economy (including on that damned A350!!). Worst flight of my life. Dumped Delta, trying out American now.
