[19:00:20] peter Dipping my toes back into IRC and seeign where I can plop my devops community. I run a discord server of about 9K folks so trying to recope the landscape.

[19:07:14] peter i am hoenstly surprised see rizon still active and well, it's been like 15 years since i've been on here

[19:12:21] peter well, mostly setting up more services in my k8s cluster but c'est le vie

[19:19:57] + peter Ubuntu is still a fare choice, i feel like its a swiss army knife, may not be the distro for everyone but still linux so its good :')

[19:20:34] + peter now that games run fairly well on Linux there's 0 reason for windows I mostly just gotta backup everything and go back to cachy. I play FFXIV and need windows API for plugins but even they migrated.

[19:23:23] + peter No idea about mirc on wine, i'll probably swap to a different client when i reinstall arch on my pc

[19:24:04] + peter It was a requirement for gaming because of 3rd party plugins for a game i play but they replicatred windows api so there's no reason to be on it now
