[01:31:19] + mlu we all know how we feel about these sorts of things -- the implementation is almost certainly going to be something minimally complaint with the law

[01:32:35] + mlu tbh, I think there's a lot of FUD about the age restriction stuff, but the fear should really be about the potential slippery slope or how "age verification" for adults is left to the FTC to be defined

[01:34:01] + mlu in practice, you're gonna get something simlar to a GECOS field that says whether or not you're an adult, and an option to just completely ignore it

[01:35:06] + mlu as for the age verificaiton part: yes, that gets scary, but if I was implementing it, and simply asking for info isn't enough, it'd be a local image recognizer model on an ID card that scans for a birthdate and sets the flag
