[14:19:15] NULL__USER__ retarch -- if im not mistaken xterm is considered the GUI application that opens a shell window.. you'll most likely (if already in command line) want to just access the proper shell.. they're usually located under /bin/ (e.g., /bin/bash for bash).. so if you have no window manager, just launch the shell you want from the already within console (terminal) window
