[10:03:30] geigerCounter Was wanting to get some opinions on filesystems and perhaps some "fuzzy benchmarks". I want to make a partition on an NVMe drive that has fast read speed. Write speed is not important. The files will mostly be large. Also, will mounting a filesystem as read only provide any benefit to read speed or is noatime as best as you can do? It doesn't need to be journalling either - in fact, I
[10:03:32] geigerCounter prefer it isn't.
[10:07:39] geigerCounter To clarify: I want to figure out which filesystem is best for maximizing read speed both random and sequential. The use case is storing 3D models for dynamically loading into modded games, if that matters. I'm willing to sacrifice features and integrity checks for raw read speed.
