[00:24:26] robr3rd Hello there. I'm nearly at my wits end with what appears to be a hardware issue (admittedly not Linux-specific but it's the only thing giving me any sort of output). In short, when I boot up into an Arch LiveUSB (2024-12, made it today). When I boot I get "[Hardware Error]: System Fatal error." / "CPU:0 ... MC27_STATUS" / "Power, Interrupts, etc. Ext. Error Code: 0" / "cache level: L3/GEN, mem/io: IO, mem-tx: GEN, part-proc: (no timeout)"
[00:26:40] robr3rd I could type out the whole thing or upload a picture of my monitor if that's more helpful, but those are all the things that catch my eye. Some searching online seems to suggest that it could be RAM instability, but it's been fine on DOCP defaults and non-DOCP defaults for 3 years, and is currently on non-DOCP defaults. Memtest86+ ran yesterday and it passes.
[00:27:27] robr3rd Others seem to suggest peripheral issues, but there is little else to unplug (USB headers, etc.) although I am happy to do that if desired.
[00:27:45] robr3rd I just need help diagnosing this so I can figure out how to fix it, ultimately.
