[16:10:37] Jobe reminds me of when M$ were touting "services for unix" to migrate your "legacy" unix and linux applications to windows

[16:11:07] Jobe the next version was supplied as part of windows server 2003 R2

[16:11:35] Jobe but what irked me was it was their attitude that if an app wasnt on windows, it was legacy and needed replacing

[16:52:03] Jobe ofc the SFU days were back when M$ were still trying to dictate standards and specifications to everyone else, by telling them that the official standards/specs were wrong just because M$ implemented them differently

[16:52:27] Jobe like the whole issue with drastic differences in how IE rendered shit compared to all other browsers

[16:53:03] Jobe and like how IRCX was partially an attempt by M$ to take over IRC protocol specification :/
