[18:30:24] GK-Deacon i was training the dog to do a service dog job while i was away for 6 weeks

[18:30:38] GK-Deacon i make him sit in the middle of an isle in a store

[18:30:54] GK-Deacon and i walk around to the next aisle over and walk around it

[18:31:05] GK-Deacon and go back to the isle he is in

[18:31:09] GK-Deacon and he stays sitting there

[18:31:12] GK-Deacon doesnt move

[18:31:20] GK-Deacon i still need to work on it more

[18:31:38] GK-Deacon he needs to be distracted by other ppl and still just remain sitting waiting for me

[18:32:01] GK-Deacon the hardware store here is really good to me and they let me use their store to train the dog

[18:34:20] GK-Deacon i need to find ppl that the dog doesnt know to help train him not to be distracted and leave his spot

[18:34:25] GK-Deacon even if they pet him

[18:34:30] GK-Deacon he needs to stay sitting

[18:34:35] GK-Deacon till i release him

[18:36:45] GK-Deacon i have to have higher standards for him than a pet

[18:37:19] GK-Deacon when i was away for 6 weeks someone overheard me saying ive attacked the dog twice in my sleep when i was having night terrors

[18:37:41] GK-Deacon they pulled me into the office and said what can we do to stop you from attacking your dog

[18:37:43] GK-Deacon i told them

[18:37:45] GK-Deacon hes not a pet

[18:37:49] GK-Deacon hes doing his job

[18:38:51] GK-Deacon stopping night terrors is one of his main jobs

[18:39:18] GK-Deacon mans best friend

[18:39:26] GK-Deacon they are the best secret keepers

[18:40:12] GK-Deacon ive asked the nursing home my building is attached to if they will let me bring the dog in and use him as a therapy dog for the residents of the nursing home

[18:40:33] GK-Deacon im waiting to hear back still

[18:40:50] GK-Deacon i just want to do it to take up some of my time when im bored

[18:41:56] GK-Deacon i had a friend who had a huskey

[18:42:03] GK-Deacon and the dog would sleep outside in the winter

[18:42:12] GK-Deacon the dog loved being out in the cold and snow

[18:43:14] GK-Deacon when i lived in the north in alberta

[18:43:18] GK-Deacon there was one winter

[18:43:27] GK-Deacon when it never went above -40 for 3 months
