[01:48:04] Krumar Hello Astra
[01:48:27] Krumar Happy it's Friday, how about you?
[01:49:19] Krumar I am pretty exicted for KDE to add per output virtual desktop switching.
[01:49:49] Krumar I've wanted that for a while, it will make some of the presentations I do much better/smoother.
[01:50:37] Krumar I think I understood that it could duplicate desktops across screens, if it can do that, it will be pretty awesome when used on a projector.
[01:50:49] Krumar I am infact a person, right now I am a hungry person.
[01:51:28] Krumar End3r: what draws you to cinnamon?
[01:51:41] Krumar :-(
[01:52:26] Krumar I like lightweight but I feel like KDE is getting done what I need pretty well.
[01:53:00] Krumar I have set a turned off all the animations and set loading to instant.
[01:53:26] Krumar I'm trying to use KDE with no animations.
[01:54:30] Krumar It does look nice.
[01:55:25] Krumar Do you use virtual desktops?
[01:57:01] Krumar End3r: what distro are you running cinnamon on?
[01:59:50] Krumar I just looked up Cinnamon, now I remember a bit more about it. I started off with Ubuntu and gnome and I loved it back in the early 2000's . I never thought I woud get onto KDE. I think I was not happy when Cinnamon startd off.
[02:01:05] Krumar Thats what im remebering now, I was big into Mint for a while
[02:02:27] Krumar smart
[02:03:12] Krumar You're above and beyond
[02:03:58] Krumar Do you get to use Linux at work?
[02:07:15] Krumar I see so many places where I feel like Linux would be a great fit but I know I wouldn't be able to teach people.
[02:07:44] Krumar I work for an MSP as well.
[02:08:03] Krumar Probably
[02:09:41] Krumar One of my clients has a medical record program that uses openoffice to compose client letters which I think is awesome but that's about all I see with opensource in the workplace.
[02:10:04] Krumar I feel like they are mostly lazy, they just want to blame problems on the computer.
[02:10:55] Krumar That's where I feel like I get a good bit of frustration, they tell their supervisors / boss that they can't do something because of the computer and then it's my fault they couldn't get something done.
[02:33:10] Krumar I've wanted to try to use just command line on a computer
[02:33:26] Krumar I feel like it would knock out a lot of distractions for me.
[02:34:42] Krumar I'm guilty of scrollling through videos.
[02:36:47] Krumar I enjoy working on machines like that, it's awesome to get actual use out of a device that would be 20 years out of date.
[02:37:30] Krumar What are the machine specs?
[02:38:12] Krumar Until fairly recently, I was using a laptop that was manufactured somewhere around 2011 or so, it had a dual core processor.
[02:38:30] Krumar Sorry, I meant to say Intel Core 2 Duo or whatever it was.
[02:38:56] Krumar Have you ever looked at Tiny Core Linux?
[02:39:28] Krumar I have some thin clients that I want to try using Tiny Core on.
[02:41:01] Krumar One of my goals is, one day, to get something like a VT220 hooked up to my computer and run off of that for a while.
[02:43:06] Krumar I'm sorry to hear that.
[02:43:14] Krumar I hope tomorrow has good news
[02:43:45] Krumar I hope that goes well too, I don't like giving blood.
[02:46:46] Krumar ha, I have one more to finish myself.
[02:46:52] Krumar One more beer.
[02:52:43] Krumar Hahaahahhaha! I can't tell you how often I feel like the problem is not technology, it's someones just personality and life style.
[02:55:00] Krumar I'm trying to remember some of the things I have had to do with older users to get a computer to work just one certain way for them becase they had no interest in learning anything, they just need mechanical directions to accomplish a tast.
[02:55:56] Krumar I need to start keeping a book with these things because I always blank when it's time to tell a story.
[02:56:41] Krumar I'm a big fan of just about everything I see in that playlist.
[02:57:22] Krumar I'm bookmarking it.
[02:58:45] Krumar I don't have a problem with ads, I appriciate the free service.
[02:59:07] Krumar Gotta pay the bills some how while my free loading ass is taking up bandwidth.
[02:59:33] Krumar You used to work in a radio station?
[03:00:11] Krumar I had a friend who worked in a radio station, I got to "produce" 3 shows.
[03:01:25] + Krumar Your up late if that is your day.
[03:03:13] + Krumar I have about a third of mine left.
[03:03:54] + Krumar I've never met a cider drinker before.
[03:04:38] + Krumar I've had some ciders before but I guess I've just never had that much access to ciders.
[03:05:19] + Krumar I can't do the sweets, I perfer dry by far, sweet gives me a headache.
[03:05:28] + Krumar I'll make a note.
[03:06:04] + Krumar I do know that what I have enjoyed is an apple cider with some club soda and 2 shots of crown royal apple.
[03:06:17] + Krumar I like that a lot.
[03:08:30] + Krumar Do you have any names for any that are easy to get your hands on?
[03:10:30] + Krumar I'm making my list.
[03:11:39] + Krumar Did you have any recommendations zer0s?
[03:12:03] + Krumar I do, I just don't like sweet stuff.
[03:12:26] + Krumar I can have some but I have to be careful or I get a bad headache.
[03:15:36] + Krumar I've got a coors next to me right now. I do like IPAs, Stouts, and Porters, but sometimes you can't beat cheap.
[03:17:05] + Krumar I don't feel like I have the time to drink like that, finally it's friday so I can let loose a bit.
[03:33:46] + Krumar havea good night
