[02:26:47] @ ski/rizon cool !
[02:31:35] @ ski/rizon moinmoin,sushi-chan :)
[02:33:10] @ ski/rizon do you think the ghost watched the film too ?
[02:33:14] @ ski/rizon maybe liked it ?
[02:36:26] @ ski/rizon hm, reminds of of The Secret of Monkey Island, where one ingredient into a voudou soup was one (1) pressed human skull (turned out a jolly roger flag worked)
[02:36:57] @ ski/rizon (also some wine, cereal, cinnamon, gun powder, and a few more things i forget, in there)
[02:37:43] @ ski/rizon well, at least you believe in ghost films
[02:38:39] @ ski/rizon i'd guess there's at least some of those who watch it, who believe in some version of magic
[02:39:18] @ ski/rizon and then there's the larpers, who like to dress up, and participate communally in sacraments and rituals based on the stories
[02:39:42] @ ski/rizon hm, an AKICK, i'd assume
[02:40:06] @ ski/rizon probably added some time ago, maybe months or more
[02:41:20] @ ski/rizon oh, sushi-chan, the "RETURN MY MOBILE FUND U STOLE. i am unguilty to type love emoticon in my comments in yotube rat videos ann to mention ur wickedness to anyehere and evreyhwre i go. .." person has been back
[02:41:30] @ ski/rizon (and getting kickbanned)
[02:41:48] @ ski/rizon most likely, yes
[02:42:13] @ ski/rizon .. i'm wondering how someone could even come up with that stuff
[02:42:45] @ ski/rizon either someone has too much time on their hands .. or they're at least somewhat disturbed or lost it
[02:43:10] @ ski/rizon hehe, quwiezxcvujw
[02:43:39] @ ski/rizon (someone changed nick, and said that, to imitate, in jest, most likely)
[02:44:04] @ ski/rizon (have they even been on Technet ?)
[02:45:31] @ ski/rizon sushi-chan : "keeps coming back with new nick to say this shit as if it was super important" -- that's why i'm wondering if there might be some kind of mental component
[02:46:25] @ ski/rizon like the "we're all bots here" joke
[02:47:06] @ ski/rizon well .. pain seems pretty real
[02:48:03] @ ski/rizon maybe we're all gaslighting ourselves into thinking we exist ?
[02:49:55] @ ski/rizon i'd like to see a doxastic logic representation of such a situation
[02:50:20] @ ski/rizon (doxastic logic is about reasoning logically about beliefs (of agents))
[02:51:31] @ ski/rizon seems real enough, to me :)
[02:51:49] @ ski/rizon real enough that it's enabled us to build large bridges, go to space, &c.
[02:52:06] @ ski/rizon if math isn't real, then your mobile phone also isn't real
[02:52:40] @ ski/rizon right, that's why people say we discover math
[02:53:11] @ ski/rizon as if it was "part of the terrain", like when we discover some inaccessible mountain range
[02:53:53] @ ski/rizon (people also say we invent math .. and that's also true, to some extent. but that's not the whole story. if it was only that, then there would be no consensus about what math is correct)
[02:54:57] @ ski/rizon hm .. i wonder how weightlessness affects the ability of spiders to make webs
[02:55:30] @ ski/rizon poor spider, it probably couldn't propel itself to the wall
[02:56:33] @ ski/rizon hm, what if we could train spiders to make like silksuits, in one piece, directly on the body of the person who's to wear it
[02:57:07] @ ski/rizon probably he's going to dress up as a spider
[02:58:02] @ ski/rizon well, in some films, spiders are large
[02:58:50] @ ski/rizon iirc, there were some in "King Solomon's Mines" (with Allan Quatermain)
[02:59:00] @ ski/rizon (isn't that a french surname, anyway ?)
[03:04:01] @ ski/rizon heya Piba :)
[03:05:21] @ ski/rizon that's quite a bit of walk
[03:05:32] @ ski/rizon sweaty, i'd assume ?
[03:05:48] @ ski/rizon how come you walked ?
[03:07:26] @ ski/rizon stroller ?
[03:07:44] @ ski/rizon so he walked, too ?
[03:08:45] @ ski/rizon how long did it take to walk ?
[03:09:07] @ ski/rizon i'd imagine he'd get whiny, tired, and perhaps hungry and thirsty, after a while ?
[03:10:46] @ ski/rizon did you get your keys, now ?
[03:11:29] @ ski/rizon that sucks :(
[03:11:43] @ ski/rizon was just going to ask if you were inside at least
[03:13:32] @ ski/rizon has he fallen asleep ?
[03:15:27] @ ski/rizon (that's a women's name, around here, btw)
[03:15:52] @ ski/rizon (and Gunnar is a male name)
[03:16:11] @ ski/rizon that's good that you do, Piba
[03:16:22] @ ski/rizon sushi-chan : termites
[03:16:57] @ ski/rizon i'd imagine lots of words are same or similar, with french and english
[03:17:11] @ ski/rizon (especially since the normands were in England)
[03:17:52] @ ski/rizon there's also some fungus which eats houses
[03:19:34] @ ski/rizon yea, some people get such dogs for the wrong reasons, or don't know how to handle them
[03:20:25] @ ski/rizon (dogs want to feel you're a leader of them. if they don't get that, they'll try to lead instead. cats are different, of course)
[03:22:07] @ ski/rizon "it is depicted as a spider woman manipulating small fire-breathing spiders."
[03:23:29] @ ski/rizon poodle ?
[03:25:24] @ ski/rizon sushi-chan : afaik, yes
[03:25:46] @ ski/rizon or if the cat is adult while the dog is a puppy, i think
[03:25:56] @ ski/rizon probably sometimes the other way around, too
[03:26:37] @ ski/rizon well, can't you have a lid (with holes for air circulation) ?
[03:26:55] @ ski/rizon although, i imagine some cats wouldn't care too much about trying to fish
[03:29:25] @ ski/rizon cats often come and greet you, when you come home
[03:29:55] @ ski/rizon or they come and annoy you, when they think you're boring, and they want to play, or want to be petted/cuddled
[03:30:39] @ ski/rizon they also do this adorable "eck-eck-eck" sound, while birdwatching
[03:31:23] @ ski/rizon that's interesting, blitzed, didn't know fish would do that
[03:32:02] @ ski/rizon not sure what barking thing you're referring to
[03:32:17] @ ski/rizon that's cool :)
[03:32:59] @ ski/rizon ah .. i guess. although "bark" isn't the word i'd use to describe it. but i guess i see what you mean
[03:36:01] @ ski/rizon er, mispaste
[03:36:21] @ ski/rizon no, fail at keyboard type
[03:36:35] @ ski/rizon (`z' is close to `<', on this keyboard)
[03:37:03] @ ski/rizon but ty, Peorth :)
[03:38:29] @ ski/rizon sushi-chan : well, there's "spidergoats" .. maybe there could be some treatment to make hair contain some amount of spider silk or something ..
[03:38:58] @ ski/rizon (goats who were genetically modified to produce spider silk in their milk, for harvesting)
[03:39:32] @ ski/rizon "The goats with spider genes and silk in their milk" <https://www.bbc.com/news/av/science-environment-16554357>
[03:40:20] @ ski/rizon hm .. now i'm wondering if one could consume spider silk/webs
[03:40:34] @ ski/rizon (probably dissolved or something)
[03:41:28] @ ski/rizon "i want them nice NATURALLY" -- well, maybe (i dunno), it's a matter of diet .. like how they say if your cat (or dog, i assume) gets better diet, their fur can start to look better
[03:41:42] @ ski/rizon dumbgoy : link, or it didn't happen ?
[03:42:30] @ ski/rizon hm, maybe, sushi-chan
[03:42:47] @ ski/rizon or maybe it's just irritated skin, in such cases ?
[03:42:48] @ ski/rizon hm
[03:43:02] @ ski/rizon can one brush one's face ? :p
[03:43:57] @ ski/rizon (somehow, that sounded like, "i need to see a witch doctor" ;)
[03:44:19] @ ski/rizon wisdom tooth ?
[03:44:28] @ ski/rizon yea, i think i remember
[03:44:57] @ ski/rizon ("Root Canal" always makes me think of Half-Life 2)
[03:46:32] @ ski/rizon i guess once you get that "icing" feeling, it's probably too far gone
[03:47:07] @ ski/rizon well, at least you don't get into fist fights
[03:49:36] @ ski/rizon tooth pick
[03:50:00] @ ski/rizon how long after did the effect last ?
[03:51:20] @ ski/rizon skin
[03:52:05] @ ski/rizon some people have better genes. and some exercise and treat their body better
[03:53:37] @ ski/rizon yea .. although all don't get those
[03:53:44] @ ski/rizon (not sure how many does)
[03:54:03] @ ski/rizon well .. too bad, since you're growing older in this instant :p
[03:54:13] @ ski/rizon hm
[03:54:23] @ ski/rizon i'd assume there's at least some truth to it
[03:55:32] @ ski/rizon also, i've heard (in person, from a researcher), that for older people who basically don't talk anymore, if you play music they know (e.g. also inviting them to sing along), that can fire up alternate neuron paths in the brain allowing them to talk and get lively, and access their memories, and so on
[03:56:47] @ ski/rizon so, iiuc, it's like memories and action patterns can be "locked away", because of the usual neuron paths in the brain having been broken down to some extent. but if you can activate alternate paths, they can gain access to that again
[03:57:12] @ ski/rizon heh .. i'm actually not that interested in medicine :p
[03:58:29] @ ski/rizon happens to me, sometimes, too
[03:58:47] @ ski/rizon often going back to the previous context/environment will reignite the memory or reason
[03:59:06] @ ski/rizon perhaps you could try writing notes ?
[03:59:29] @ ski/rizon also, maybe if it seems to happen that often, it's something you could get a specialist to look into
[03:59:45] @ ski/rizon (although, my memory skills weren't that great, to begin with ..)
[04:00:30] @ ski/rizon well .. i guess memory is weird
[04:00:46] @ ski/rizon i find i'm surprised i can remember some things, but others, not that well
[04:01:10] @ ski/rizon probably there's at least to some extent an effect of declarative vs. procedural memory
[04:02:25] @ ski/rizon yea, i'm like that, as well
[04:02:44] @ ski/rizon have a hard time learning anything i'm not interested in, even if i know it's something that i'll have use for
[04:02:50] @ ski/rizon doesn't seem to matter
[04:04:02] @ ski/rizon (also, i'm not that good at memorizing a math formula .. unless i either know how to derive it from scratch (and then i more learn the important road-choices on the path, than the destination), or else by using it enough (at which point it'll eventually start to stick))
[04:04:29] @ ski/rizon mm, when i was a kid, teachers would say i was in my own world, all the time
[04:05:11] @ ski/rizon but when there's something i'm really interested in, i can hyperfocus on that, forgetting time, forgetting to eat, forgetting i'm tired, &c.
[04:05:44] @ ski/rizon would you say you're good at multi-tasking ?
[04:06:07] @ ski/rizon yea, i'm not sure either .. (hence i asked)
[04:06:42] @ ski/rizon hm .. reminds me of someone who described the thoughts of the mind as "a chattering group of monkeys"
[04:07:20] @ ski/rizon you could perhaps try meditation, if you'd like
[04:07:45] @ ski/rizon (since that's one of the things it's supposed to be about, help with)
[04:07:53] @ ski/rizon yea
[04:08:06] @ ski/rizon i guess maybe you haven't found the right form of it
[04:08:11] @ ski/rizon or maybe it's simply not for you
[04:09:04] @ ski/rizon yea .. i wouldn't want to try that, either
[04:10:11] @ ski/rizon (partly because i simply can't imagine stuff like it appears you're supposed to, for that to work. but also because i don't really see why i'd want to. when i try to meditate, i try to calm thoughts, not dream up i'm in fantasy land)
[04:13:10] @ ski/rizon hehe
[04:13:24] @ ski/rizon perhaps that's simply your meditation exercise, to some extent, then :)
[04:14:19] @ ski/rizon i listen more to music without vocals, than music with. but sometimes i can listen to music with some foreign language (that i don't understand), in the background
[04:14:54] @ ski/rizon yep :D
[04:15:46] @ ski/rizon good night, daniel, pleasant dreams
[04:19:07] @ ski/rizon yea, was just thinking it was breakfast time
[04:19:18] @ ski/rizon take care, have a nice breakfast :)
[04:21:07] @ ski/rizon next time, i guess
[15:10:37] @ ski/rizon hope you had a good sleep
[18:14:25] @ ski/rizon mhm
[18:14:47] @ ski/rizon i guess it's remnants of old land division system
[18:22:33] @ ski/rizon from a hot dog, perhaps ?
[18:23:11] @ ski/rizon "but we were sold by the french to the US" -- ah, guess that makes sense, then
[18:24:39] @ ski/rizon (i have heard that some parts of the legal system in Louisiana is different, due to being based of french law, rather than english common law)
[18:25:40] @ ski/rizon mhm
[18:28:11] @ ski/rizon around here, we used to have "socken"s, basically parishes. many/several sockens making up a county. that administrative division isn't used anymore by authorities, but botanists (after Linné) still use it, to indicate where some plant has been spotted
[18:29:23] @ ski/rizon you have to go to the suburbs ?
[18:31:21] @ ski/rizon what if it's not during a ritual ?
[18:31:46] @ ski/rizon (or maybe it would be considered a ritual, per definition ?)
[18:33:11] @ ski/rizon hm .. i guess they could be talking about bile, e.g.
[18:33:28] @ ski/rizon or spit
[19:02:34] @ ski/rizon dot
