[13:11:17] @ ski/rizon (i don't want a bot repeating the corrected message in question .. especially not more than one of them doing it)
[18:35:20] @ ski/rizon mosquitos do prefer some people over others, yea :(
[18:35:27] @ ski/rizon they bite when you sleep ?
[18:49:53] @ ski/rizon one time when i was hiking in the mountains, we were walking along the bottom of a rather long, not that steep, valley, with relatively steep mountains to the sides
[18:50:45] @ ski/rizon it was rather hot, i think over 30 °C (being 86 °F), and no wind. no cloud on the sky
[18:51:26] @ ski/rizon but we couldn't take off out jackets, since a large billowing cloud of millions of mosquitos were stubbornly following us
[18:52:10] @ ski/rizon usually, after they land, they walk around bit (after initially sitting still, to detect whether they've been spotted, if it's safe to proceed), to find the best spot to bite
[18:52:48] @ ski/rizon but these ones, would try to bite immediately after landing, which they'd try immediately again after you'd waved them off
[18:54:09] @ ski/rizon it was pretty exhausting, and we because over-heated. finally, near the end of the valley, we reached the foot of a glacier, from which came a (not that strong, but still nice) breeze (air being chilled by the ice, then rolling down the slope), which ameliorated the heat situation
[18:54:40] @ ski/rizon then, i guess, at some point we probably got over a ridge somewhere, catching a full wind blowing the mosquito cloud away
[18:55:42] @ ski/rizon Piba : the reason there are so many there is because of the (half-domesticated) reindeers which wander around (mostly) freely .. and, there's quite a bit of still water around in places, too. lakes, marshes and the like
[18:57:18] @ ski/rizon "even half of my neighbor moved out because of the same reason of mosquitos" -- sounds like quite a bad place, in that case :(
[19:56:02] @ ski/rizon we had some interesting "orb" spiders in a root cellar on the countryside
[19:56:16] @ ski/rizon with black, more or less spherical bodies
[19:56:57] @ ski/rizon sushi-chan : my cat liked peas and cheese
[19:58:04] @ ski/rizon (and sliced (sandwich) sausage, sliced ham, tuna, as well .. would come running when i opened a can, even if it was tomato pulp, thinking it was tuna)
[19:58:33] @ ski/rizon "cleaned himself and started to clean you cuz you were close" -- can confirm this happens
[19:59:06] @ ski/rizon like if i'm petting the cat, and it is, or starts to, lick itself, it may sometimes also lick my hand
[19:59:40] @ ski/rizon bonsoir
[20:00:13] @ ski/rizon ah, don't .. that tickles
[20:00:36] @ ski/rizon i'd sometimes feed my cat some whipped cream .. but i thought that was normal ?
[20:02:03] @ ski/rizon montar : who puts sugar in their whipped cream ?
[20:02:40] @ ski/rizon (obviously i'm talking about cream i've whipped myself, not that can thing you can buy, which sprays the cream)
[20:03:16] @ ski/rizon yea, lactose .. i was thinking montar was thinking about added sackaros or glycos or fructos
[20:04:02] @ ski/rizon are you sure sugar is poisonous to wasps ? .. they're drawn to sweet drinks, cakes, jam, &c.
[20:04:31] @ ski/rizon i think cats sometimes eat plants, in order to puke
[20:04:52] @ ski/rizon you have to be careful to not have a poisonous pot plant around
[20:05:03] @ ski/rizon well, if they have a hair ball they want to get rid of
[20:05:36] @ ski/rizon they can, if none other plant is available
[20:08:10] @ ski/rizon my cat was an indoor one
[20:08:34] @ ski/rizon sushi-chan : you can make nettle soup, actually
[20:08:44] @ ski/rizon i've tasted it
[20:09:03] @ ski/rizon (nettle soup that is .. not talking about digesting hair)
[20:09:38] @ ski/rizon sushi-chan : some people absentmindedly fiddle with a pen, or a bracelet, medallion, or something. some people chew on a strand of hair
[20:10:51] @ ski/rizon hm, i've heard of people ripping off small pieces of that bubbly plastic stuffing that's inside some mattresses, sofas, and the like, and chewing on that, and swallowing
[20:11:48] @ ski/rizon i guess everything needs to come with a warning side "NOTICE : don't eat this !"
[20:11:55] @ ski/rizon s/side/sign/
[20:13:03] @ ski/rizon well .. rabbits and hamsters eat their excrement, iirc
[20:13:55] @ ski/rizon pleasant dreams
[20:16:39] @ ski/rizon reminds me of old garbage can, carrion, rotten tomatoes, &c. scented candles
[20:17:56] @ ski/rizon (we came up with that as a joke, in another channel, when having a nice chat. but i'm sure someone has actually gone and produced such candles)
[20:18:19] @ ski/rizon i wouldn't eat nutella, period
[20:18:33] @ ski/rizon i agree it's gross
[20:18:47] @ ski/rizon cheese is nice with marmelade
[20:18:54] @ ski/rizon (and bread)
[20:19:34] @ ski/rizon also, lingonberry jam goes well together with e.g. potatoes, rice, meat, fish
[20:19:42] @ ski/rizon (it's not that sweet, more aromatic)
[20:20:10] @ ski/rizon ComputerTech : aren't all vegetables organic ?
[20:20:41] @ ski/rizon minced/ground meat stew goes nicely together with pancakes, btw
[20:20:59] @ ski/rizon (of course there's no sugar in the pancake batter .. who would do such a thing ?)
[20:22:04] @ ski/rizon sometimes when i fry pancakes, i put some minced mackarel, or maybe slices of ham/sausage/turkey/chicken in the pancake (well, first a thin layer batter, then the other stuff, then cover with another layer)
[20:22:32] @ ski/rizon (and i'm talking about a thinner batter, no baking powder, more like french crêpes)
[20:23:01] @ ski/rizon ComputerTech : they've managed to clone vegetables somehow, without growing them in soil ?
[20:23:33] @ ski/rizon (everything that grows from the soil is organic, in my book)
[20:28:29] @ ski/rizon this afternoon
[20:31:15] @ ski/rizon think about your dreams, man
[20:32:01] @ ski/rizon (also wondering where you got those eight amish)
[21:09:39] @ ski/rizon now i'm wondering if there's someone who got a tattoo on an inner organ
