[01:58:01] + No_One/rizon I put together a raspberry pi 4 for a 1tb nvme.
[01:58:20] + No_One/rizon I used a CM4 and carrier board with an nvme slot
[01:59:01] + No_One/rizon CM4 is a raspberry pi "module"
[02:00:07] + No_One/rizon It's a cpu ram, and sometimes emmc and wifi
[02:00:16] + No_One/rizon No other ports
[02:00:35] + No_One/rizon Lets you have direct access to the pcie bus
[02:00:55] + No_One/rizon So a carrier board can give you nvme access
[02:03:22] + No_One/rizon Tiny 8 gig ram, 1tb hd drive system https://i.imgur.com/WSiVcWl.jpg
[02:04:13] + No_One/rizon Well it's an ARM system
[02:04:21] + No_One/rizon so 8gb isn't bad
[02:07:13] + No_One/rizon Pi4 is a few years old now. pi5 should come out sometime soon. If the they make it's compute module compatible with the old form factor will be able to upgrade it
[02:12:16] + No_One/rizon Tinkerboard costs much more than a pi
[02:13:52] + No_One/rizon Right now they are very hard to get
[02:14:29] + No_One/rizon a base pi4 should be $35
[02:15:06] + No_One/rizon But they are hard to get, and people overcharge for stock
[02:16:02] + No_One/rizon Yeah they are overcharging
[02:16:58] + No_One/rizon My cm4 pi4 with 8 gigs, a case and 1 tb nvme drive was less than $200. And CM4's cost more than standard pi4
[02:17:39] + No_One/rizon Oh and a carrier board
[02:18:17] + No_One/rizon I do have about 5 pi4's but most were bought when they first came out
