[01:00:49] ski/rizon (well, my mom did wrestle/tackle, as well as wrestle arm, in school .. mostly with boys, though. winning over most of them)
[01:01:08] ski/rizon sure is :D
[01:03:44] ski/rizon one time, her dad, who was a high post office official, had his boss home for dinner, bringing with him his wife and son. the son and my mom decided to wrestle in the hall. her father called his boss and said "you'd better came see this". she had him pinned to the floor, sitting on his stomach, clasping his arms down on the floor. the boss didn't like seeing that)
[03:52:13] ski/rizon maybe they were looking for someone (else)
[03:52:19] ski/rizon it didn't work ?
[03:52:47] ski/rizon sounds like someone stopped it, foxy
[03:54:12] ski/rizon someone i know gave me some kind of hm, what's it called .. vitamin or nutrient pill or something. and it took a few minutes for me to be able to manage it
[03:54:43] ski/rizon that's what happens to me as well, ComputerTech
[03:55:26] ski/rizon older
[03:58:06] ski/rizon i don't think so, End3r .. but i like cats
[03:59:03] ski/rizon base64 to encode the binary output ciphertext ?
[03:59:29] ski/rizon .. have you ever considered eating blowfish ?
[04:02:12] ski/rizon maybe that's why, End3r
[04:03:32] ski/rizon imgur is annoying to look at images on .. i have to grovel in the HTML source to get the image link
[04:04:32] ski/rizon "Jogeir Liljedahl Compilation #1&2"
[04:04:40] ski/rizon music, not songs
[04:05:04] ski/rizon (you didn't ask for songs)
[04:07:15] ski/rizon "Physical Presence" and "Attributed Horror" (starting 'zaks) are from 1993, the others are from around that same period as well
[04:07:39] ski/rizon it's nice music to play when coding, e.g.
[04:09:10] ski/rizon she'll be back
[04:10:23] ski/rizon a few, intermittently
[04:10:45] ski/rizon some Let's Players
[04:14:47] ski/rizon could be cuter than a third one ?
[04:16:54] ski/rizon he's you, in the future ?
[04:22:22] ski/rizon sure is
[04:23:14] ski/rizon ooh, i remember chatting with someone who used IglooIRC
[04:32:32] ski/rizon not that i can recall, no
[04:32:53] ski/rizon superhero comics mostly bore me, as well
[04:33:43] ski/rizon i have read "Watchmen","League of Extraordinary Gentlemen","Promethea","Swamp Thing", because it was Alan Moore, though
[04:36:07] ski/rizon also liked Neil Gaiman's "The Sandman" (the 10 comic albums), Warren Ellis' "Transmetropolitan", François Bourgeon's "Companions of the Twilight" and "Passengers of the Wind", Enki Bilal's "The Nikopol Trilogy" (starting with "Carnival of Immortals") and also other ones, Jacques Tardi's "The Extraordinary Adventures of Adele Blanc-Sec", Carla Speed McNeil's "Finder" ("aboriginal science fi
[04:38:30] ski/rizon Alan Moore's "V for Vendetta", hm "Hellblaizer" (Garth Ennis ?)
[04:39:04] ski/rizon Vicente Segrelles' "Mercenario" is quite amazing, it's a comic that's painted in oil
[04:40:07] ski/rizon Junko Mizuno's "Pure Trance" (one album) was strange/interesting
[04:41:18] ski/rizon Didier Comes' (?) "Silence","Eva","The Salamander"
[04:43:50] ski/rizon some by Jean "Moebius" Giraud ("Aedana cycle", iirc; "Technopriests")
[04:45:13] ski/rizon apparently he wanted to distance himself from the film
[04:47:17] ski/rizon (iirc, they toned down some of his anarchistic viewpoints/critiques, in the film, made it more tame)
[04:49:10] ski/rizon french comics artists (like Bourgeon, Tardi, Bilal, Pierre Christin, ..) can be interesting
[04:49:59] ski/rizon (well, not sure Bilal is technically french, being born in Yugoslavia, iirc to Bosnian and Croatian parents. but he lives in France, and presumably have french citizenship)
[04:51:31] ski/rizon (he references the civil war there, now and again, in his comics)
[04:53:11] ski/rizon they are :)
[04:53:21] ski/rizon Bilal's also got a unique drawing style
[04:53:47] ski/rizon (you can often tell, from a glance, that it's by Bilal)
[04:55:25] ski/rizon often he has like "paint strokes" or "light afterimages, when moving eyes", in his scenes
[04:56:59] ski/rizon but yea, e.g. the heads of his characters often look like the surface consists of flat surfaces (like a stone or gem that's been shaped into facets), only somewhat rounded out
[04:58:24] ski/rizon try searching for "Bilal Nikopol", e.g.
[05:00:24] ski/rizon the Nikopol trilogy ("The Carnival of Immortals","The Woman Trap","Frigid Equator") is good
[05:01:26] ski/rizon also the "Dormant Beast"/"32rd December" (iirc) quadrology
[05:03:24] ski/rizon "The Hunting Party","The Black Order Brigade" ; "The City That Doesn't Exist" (with Pierre Christin)
[05:06:01] ski/rizon François Bourgeon's "Companions of the Twilight" is also quite amazing, imho. it takes place during the hundreds years' war, in France. parts of the story is dreamy, you're not sure what's really happening or not. and often you'll want to turn back pages to check details, to try to make sense of it all, getting realizations
[05:07:40] ski/rizon his "Passengers of the Wind" takes place during the slave trade across the Atlantic. partly on board a ship (which turns out to be a slaver ship), partly in Africa, partly in the new world. (the main focus of the story isn't the slave trade, but it's sometimes an important background part)
[05:08:23] ski/rizon in both stories, he's done extensive historic research, to get details of dresses, houses, ships, customs, &c. correct (as far as reasonable)
[05:10:15] ski/rizon Tardi's Adele albums are funny and absurd, set in fin de siècle Paris (around/after year 1900, up to WW1), following Adele, who's a journalist who investigates mystical or strange things
[05:13:45] ski/rizon (i think they made a film, based on a few of the albums .. i haven't seen it, though. according to some screenshots i've seen, it appears she's smiling (often ?), which is really uncharacteristic of her. maybe i'll see it, at some point. .. the one time i remember, from the albums, is when she's supposed to get drugged by chloroform, but they mistakenly use laughing gas instead .. another t
[05:13:51] ski/rizon (french) flag happens to fall down, and entangle her, and she says she's feeling like she's about to die of embaressment (from being seen in the flag, she's distrustful of authorities))
[10:50:43] ski/rizon 'ello
[10:52:50] ski/rizon i haven't
[10:53:24] ski/rizon (fwiw, my nick has nothing to do with snow)
[10:58:56] ski/rizon need the initial letter capitalized
[10:59:35] ski/rizon i guess
[11:00:09] ski/rizon i'm not sure Wikipedia has any control over that .. i think (?) that's part of browser behaviour
[11:00:52] ski/rizon not really how to pronounce it, no
[20:29:24] ski/rizon you should reset someone's connection with it
[20:30:03] ski/rizon "Connection reset by beer" ?
[20:44:13] ski/rizon there's a show called that ?
[20:44:24] ski/rizon strange
[20:45:13] ski/rizon the title names does sound a bit cringe
[20:45:29] ski/rizon i'd probably prefer not to
[20:49:58] ski/rizon .. a Jekyll & Hyde moment ?
[20:53:17] ski/rizon mistrial meaning the case was dismissed ?
[20:56:50] ski/rizon Mastersons ?
[20:57:28] ski/rizon hm, do i misremember, or is Scientology banned (at least in some respects), in Germany ?
[20:57:59] ski/rizon vielleicht
[21:01:30] ski/rizon foxy : too long after the alleged actions ?
[21:02:09] ski/rizon .. fairly recently
[21:02:27] ski/rizon yes
[21:02:56] ski/rizon to more years ?
[21:03:29] ski/rizon mm
[21:05:02] ski/rizon unless if a more recent case could be found, maybe
[21:05:13] ski/rizon mm
[21:05:23] ski/rizon yeh
[21:08:13] ski/rizon sounds creepy
[21:08:34] ski/rizon (but i guess it does sound like what i've heard of CoS)
[21:11:12] ski/rizon Church of Selene is nice
[21:13:16] ski/rizon (music composer that i linked to, some hours ago)
[21:19:52] ski/rizon you wouldn't like one of your own, ComputerTech ?
[21:20:18] ski/rizon with a bar, and serving mead also, say
[21:20:59] ski/rizon stavkirke
[21:21:20] ski/rizon thos churches that are kinda viking-architecture-looking
[22:46:13] ski/rizon Pilaf rice is nice
[22:47:36] ski/rizon (you caramelize onion in a pot, then put the rice grains in that)
[22:59:49] ski/rizon what, me creative ?
[23:02:31] ski/rizon that bad ?
[23:03:18] ski/rizon ComputerTech is sick ?
[23:03:46] ski/rizon some people suggest chicken soup, when one's got a cold
[23:04:27] ski/rizon soup with cauliflower, potatoes, carrots, milk, perhaps sausage slices if you like, is nice
[23:16:07] ski/rizon "Chrono Crusade" related to "Chrono Trigger" ?
[23:17:04] ski/rizon well, i guess there's also "Chrono Cross" (and "Radical Dreamers")
[23:18:45] ski/rizon (that's an RPG)
[23:24:13] ski/rizon .. oh, it even uses the name "Yuri" .. i wonder if it was published after 2016, then
[23:47:25] ski/rizon senpai, ty
[23:47:46] ski/rizon (doesn't look like Yuri on the cover)
[23:47:58] ski/rizon .. i suspect not, but thanks anyway :)
[23:48:31] ski/rizon semi-recently someone suggested "Lone Wolf and Cub" to me, which i read (three volumes, dunno if there's more)
[23:50:51] ski/rizon (presumably to a large extent because the former is longer, seven volumes. the anime fit way less events into it)
[23:51:03] ski/rizon bash ?
[23:54:05] ski/rizon (bash is a help vampire ?)
[23:56:44] ski/rizon daddy : oh, it's that old ?
