[04:37:49] ski/rizon nini, End3r
[04:38:18] ski/rizon we had a cat that would come in early in the morning, and want to be let out
[04:38:49] ski/rizon her would meow, and jump up in the bed, walking around on your stomach a bit, while purring
[04:40:13] ski/rizon you could usually convince him to settle down for some time, if you petted him. but after a while, he'd decide that he really wanted out. so he'd reach out his paw, extending a claw, and very carefully touch you with it. if you tried to hide under the covers, he'd try to dig his way under
[04:41:09] ski/rizon two storeys up
[04:41:51] ski/rizon we adopted him, after we were alerted to that he didn't have an owner, ate from another cat's outdoor bowl
[04:43:08] ski/rizon he kinda lived in a hole under steps up to an apartment house entrance
[04:44:01] ski/rizon he'd often curl up there, in the winter, after he'd been out for a while, and we decided it was probably time for him to come back in, if he wasn't already meowing under the window, after hearing our voices
[04:45:40] ski/rizon at first, we lived in the apartment inside that entrance steps, that was on a floor a half storey above ground. he could climp up on the steps fence/bars, and from there to the balcony, and then claw at the window, to get attention to that he wanted to get inside
[04:45:50] ski/rizon but then we moved to one house away
[04:46:27] ski/rizon because i wrote them with a blue pencil, franstam ?
[04:48:09] ski/rizon (his name was basically "Mousey" (translated))
[04:49:56] ski/rizon later, my mother thought that that wasn't quite a fitting name for a cat, wanted to call him Miaoritz .. but we called him Mousey
[04:55:37] ski/rizon curious
[04:55:41] ski/rizon oy
[04:56:43] ski/rizon hm ?
[04:56:49] ski/rizon .. ah
[04:57:06] ski/rizon hm .. no
[04:57:12] ski/rizon (thought you meant "awesome")
[04:57:20] ski/rizon (well, there is a game with that name, too)
[04:57:34] ski/rizon what kind of game is that ?
[04:57:40] ski/rizon (hm, tea might be nice)
[04:58:01] ski/rizon but with more alternatives ?
[04:59:20] ski/rizon what kind of automation ?
[04:59:26] ski/rizon electric oven ?
[05:00:11] ski/rizon we didn't have running water, at our countryside place. had to go fetch a bucket, in the well
[05:01:51] ski/rizon it was okay
[05:02:26] ski/rizon crystal clear water, right from a brook, perhaps even from right below a melting patch of snow, in the summer, up in the mountains (above the tree line), does taste awesome, though
[05:03:25] ski/rizon nobody
[05:05:23] ski/rizon Kilroy : hm .. automated, how ? .. i remember seeing, somewhere, that they had a large TV screen, in the living room, that hang from the ceiling, and they had a remote that could lift it up, turning the axel, so it would lie flat against the ceiling
[05:06:54] ski/rizon if anyone's home and up, i suppose
[05:08:43] ski/rizon hm .. i'm reminded of those (small) robotic lawn mover things .. my sister (and her fiancé) calls them hedgehog killers
[05:09:50] ski/rizon they had a hedgehog living in their garden, which get a litter of young. apparently, eventually they would be so used to the humans, so they'd come up and greet them, sniff at them
[05:10:35] ski/rizon well, that sounds useful, Kilroy .. do you often get severe weather, around there ?
[05:10:56] ski/rizon wind ?
[05:13:58] ski/rizon hm, so it's relatively recent with more tornadoes, there ?
[05:14:07] ski/rizon or perhaps you moved there, not too long ago
[05:14:19] ski/rizon g'night, Kilroy
[05:17:45] ski/rizon franstam : ah .. i was thinking of <https://ibmathsresources.com/2015/08/29/how-to-win-at-rock-paper-scissors/> (it was fifteen, not seventeen, misremembered)
