[21:40:40] yournamehere/rizon if you go the no degree/no relevant degree route you will work for shit ass companies for 2-4 years

[21:41:04] yournamehere/rizon but once you can prove you can do they job they will hire anyone
[21:41:24] yournamehere/rizon I worked with someone who was a fucking crab fisherman

[21:41:59] yournamehere/rizon they did bootcamps and worked somewhere and changed jobs for more $$ after a few years

[21:48:59] yournamehere/rizon Nimko: you will be learning constantly as a dev so unless you study something extremely specific, you will likely do different things

[21:49:42] yournamehere/rizon I liked databases and backends, couldn't stand front end or UI
[21:50:14] yournamehere/rizon I mostly worked in .net because it was accessable to a noob at the time
