[16:57:19] superkuh/rizon X class solar flare an hour ago. Not a huge one, but big. Enough EUV light to cause a ~hour radio blackout in terms of propagation in the Earth's ionosphere (for some frequencies) and to increase the error in GPS due to charges freed in the atmosphere.
