[22:51:44] NiniGeo2/rizon Home Owner Associations are contracts that you have to sign if you want to live in certain areas. They enforce some standards so that all the houses in a neighborhood look a certain way.
[22:52:12] NiniGeo2/rizon It's junk like "You can't grow your grass more than X inches tall" and "Your roof must always be Y color" and things like that.
[22:52:28] NiniGeo2/rizon And "You have to plow your driveway and sidewalk in front of your house if it snows.
[22:54:42] NiniGeo2/rizon HOA is annoying because it's usually contractual. You have to agree to the HOA terms if you want to live in a certain neighborhood :(
