[01:23:20] ski/rizon ssch
[01:57:37] ski/rizon yea, you do look younger
[01:58:08] ski/rizon people regularly think my mom looks ten years younger. and something similar, for several of us kids
[01:58:40] ski/rizon hm. maybe just a little bit tired, or annoyed
[01:58:50] ski/rizon or unenthused
[01:59:06] ski/rizon "come to the internet, where men are men women are men and little girls are fbi agents..." ?
[01:59:45] ski/rizon yea, it's older
[02:00:02] ski/rizon s/come/welcome/
[02:00:24] ski/rizon sushi,Ahsoka
[02:01:06] ski/rizon there's some more who've chatted a bit in here
[02:01:45] ski/rizon cpucake something
[02:02:02] ski/rizon @seen cpucake_13
[02:02:44] ski/rizon she was nice to chat to
[02:03:07] ski/rizon iirc, we were talking a bit about magic something
[02:03:45] ski/rizon ah .. yea
[02:04:32] ski/rizon i remember once, i'd been up for over 48 hours .. and i was outdoors in the middle of the night, walking home. i kept falling asleep, as i was walking (but somehow kept walking, i guess)
[02:05:04] ski/rizon then woke up, was confused about where i was. then starting to fall asleep again confusing dream imagery with my surroundings. repeat
[02:07:15] ski/rizon i chatted with a whole bunch more, elsewhere, another network
[02:07:38] ski/rizon for more than a year
[02:10:08] ski/rizon one of the (adult) leaders on a summer camp i was on, as a teenager, had the habit to occasionally sneak up behind someone unsuspecting, and tickle-tackle them to the ground, with them laughing until they begged for mercy
[02:10:41] ski/rizon she was also a singer in a well known pop band (not that i had heard of that then. i didn't listen to popular music, really)
[02:11:11] ski/rizon one time, she told us about a woman stalker she'd had, who'd broken into their house, tied them up, and threatened them with a knife
[02:13:13] ski/rizon "i smell you"
[02:15:12] ski/rizon (from "Always on my mind" by Pet Shop Boys in 1987 at <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wDe60CbIagg>)
[02:22:37] ski/rizon caves ?
[02:22:54] ski/rizon oh
[02:23:05] ski/rizon we have a pegmatite quarry here
[02:23:11] ski/rizon (abandoned)
[02:23:49] ski/rizon yea, those little red ones, trying to recall what they're called in english
[02:24:29] ski/rizon ah .. garnet
[02:25:05] ski/rizon they're embedded in micas
[02:25:33] ski/rizon apparently there's also some amount of uranium in the rocks there, iirc
[02:25:49] ski/rizon it's not very large
[02:26:26] ski/rizon last i was there (a few years ago, i just had a whim to bike over there), they'd put up locked fences. but i found a way around
[02:26:43] ski/rizon yea, would be 235
[02:27:37] ski/rizon there is a somewhat large open chamber/cavern, with a pillar holding up the corner
[02:27:52] ski/rizon like, you could perhaps fit a bus in there
[02:29:17] ski/rizon i think perhaps the quarry was only used by (i guess geology ? or maybe also physics ?) institution at the university
[02:29:30] ski/rizon or maybe there were some industrial mining at one point, i don't recall
[02:30:04] ski/rizon hm, now that you mention it (again), "aluminum" may vaguely ring a bell
[02:30:14] ski/rizon i could perhaps ask my da, next i see him
[02:32:05] ski/rizon on a vacation, we passed through where they'd been silver mines. some of us kids went off into the forest a bit, looked at sudden holes in the ground, and a few that were horizontal openings, venturing in a little bit. although, when we came back, apparently some guide was angry at us, for walking off, without a guide
[02:33:11] ski/rizon on another vacation, we were visiting some castle ruins. but they'd closed when we got there. so us kids jumped the fence, and explored. after a while, the guard noticed us, and started chasing us. we ran in different directions, and hid from him. later, my older brother said that that was the most fun on that vacation
[02:33:34] ski/rizon much more fun, usually, to explore without a guide, yea
[02:33:53] ski/rizon Ahsoka : can't girls be gay, too ?
[02:34:01] ski/rizon especially around christmas
[02:35:17] ski/rizon oh, now that i think about it, we jumped the wall beside the fence, not the fence itself
[02:36:03] ski/rizon perhaps you could import some
[02:36:19] ski/rizon oh, petroglyphs :)
[02:36:43] ski/rizon there's apparently a rude petroglyph, hm, was it in scotland, or in wales ?
[02:36:53] ski/rizon anyway, a large giant, with a large .. well, you know
[02:38:41] ski/rizon ah, it wa actually in England
[02:40:18] ski/rizon yea
[02:42:13] ski/rizon yea, that looks pretty cool
[02:42:19] ski/rizon hm, is that down under ?
[02:42:43] ski/rizon hm, or maybe .. yea, was about to say the states
[02:42:56] ski/rizon i think there's also something of the kind, out in the Saraha, in some places
[02:43:26] ski/rizon with pictures of gazelles and other animals, presumably from the time when the Saharas were a savannah, not a desert
[02:43:49] ski/rizon mm, i've seen this site before, on pic
[02:43:59] ski/rizon that's, i think, Pueblo indians, yes ?
[02:44:28] ski/rizon oh, the link name even said
[02:44:41] ski/rizon it does look cool
[02:44:52] ski/rizon would be nice to visit something like that, some time
[02:45:06] ski/rizon apparently, there's a monastery in Egypt, which looks kinda similar
[02:45:10] ski/rizon my brother's been there
[02:45:29] ski/rizon it also reminds me of the Gerudo Fortress, in Ocarina of Time
[02:45:40] ski/rizon ah, i see
[02:45:42] ski/rizon makes sense
[02:46:16] ski/rizon mm
[02:46:32] ski/rizon they weren't nomads, had maize/corn crops
[02:47:00] ski/rizon and bad teeth, due to using sandstone to crush the corn
[02:47:23] ski/rizon apparently also put funeral sites halfway up steep cliffs, iirc
[02:47:42] ski/rizon mm
[02:48:49] ski/rizon and good lookout posts, at times, i imagine
[02:51:27] ski/rizon there's a lot of tunnels, chambers, rooms, underground in kappadocia, Turkey
[02:51:37] ski/rizon like small cities
[02:52:12] ski/rizon i know they've been used by some christian groups, historically. but i was told recently that they're much older than that, apparently
[02:52:56] ski/rizon also, i was told by an israeli palestinian, that the tunnels under Gaza also are very old. some apparently go a long way underground out in the direction of the Sinai peninsular
[02:55:00] ski/rizon supposedly made by megasloths
[02:55:25] ski/rizon hm, were mayans that far north ?
[02:55:42] ski/rizon i know the aztecs came from north, down south, and settled at tenochtitlan
[02:56:16] ski/rizon hm, never heard
[02:57:02] ski/rizon there's megaliths at teotihuacan
[02:57:20] ski/rizon iirc, actecs and others said they were there already when they arrived
[02:58:17] ski/rizon stones with a weight of several tonnes, in some cases. fitting together like jigsaw pieces, nothing inbetween to keep them together. and generally only with very little room inbetween
[02:58:37] ski/rizon fascinating
[02:58:49] ski/rizon mm, the "moon" and "sun" pyramid
[02:59:41] ski/rizon right .. i forgot where those are located
[03:00:03] ski/rizon yea, but the name of the site
[03:01:09] ski/rizon ah, ok, that was that one, then
[03:01:30] ski/rizon hm .. right
[03:01:45] ski/rizon i think it was actual sacsayhuaman which had the megalithic stones, then ?
[03:01:49] ski/rizon confusing the names, here
[03:02:00] ski/rizon yea
[03:02:22] ski/rizon we knew an older lady. when she was over 80, she travelled to Machu Pichu
[03:02:42] ski/rizon her granddaughter was getting married. and she visited Macchu Pichu, when she was there anyway
[03:02:55] ski/rizon mhm, right
[03:03:12] ski/rizon i think there was maybe some more in central, as well .. not sure
[03:03:16] ski/rizon yea
[03:03:37] ski/rizon and the Terra Preta
[03:04:25] ski/rizon well, there's those famous step pyramids at Chichen Itza
[03:04:29] ski/rizon (my sis has been there)
[03:04:34] ski/rizon yep
[03:05:25] ski/rizon i don't recall if Palanque's tomb was also at Chichen Itza, or another site
[03:05:29] ski/rizon yep
[03:05:48] ski/rizon where the water went underground, due to being high in calcium
[03:06:12] ski/rizon (the bedrock, i mean)
[03:06:42] ski/rizon mm
[03:07:00] ski/rizon they have those more or less circular, very deep holes, with water at the bottom
[03:07:05] ski/rizon where they'd sometimes sacrifice
[03:07:46] ski/rizon is it that one with giant crystals ?
[03:07:57] ski/rizon and very humid and quite hot, so that people can't stay in there for long ?
[03:08:14] ski/rizon and it had until recently been filled with liquid, so that the crystals were growing
[03:09:51] ski/rizon mm. may have been that one i've seen pics from
[03:10:04] ski/rizon it's the right scale of the crystals, anyway
[03:10:57] ski/rizon hmm ..
[03:11:27] ski/rizon .. it's been nice chatting with you :) .. but i'm actually quite tired, even feel maybe a slight headache
[03:11:50] ski/rizon so i think i'll try resting a bit
[03:12:18] ski/rizon oy, ty, NiniGeo2
[03:12:25] ski/rizon have fun
[14:41:44] ski/rizon fried eggs go with pyttipanna
[14:52:49] ski/rizon chicken ?
[14:53:07] ski/rizon you could give her a stereogram book ?
[14:53:45] ski/rizon can he program on it ?
[14:53:59] ski/rizon i started programming at 6.5
[14:54:51] ski/rizon hah
[15:37:41] ski/rizon ohayo, Saphir^txp :)
