[15:24:25] jmjl/rizon !bang
[19:37:41] jmjl/rizon oh
[19:37:51] jmjl/rizon Valware: and the data is kept inside unreal?
[19:37:58] jmjl/rizon and later on permanent storage on every host?
[19:38:02] jmjl/rizon oh
[19:38:14] jmjl/rizon I asume you set one server to act as the server that will send emails out right?
[19:38:46] jmjl/rizon o/ Saphir^Txp
[19:38:51] jmjl/rizon Valware: that's a nice idea
[19:39:26] jmjl/rizon oh
[19:39:54] jmjl/rizon But that API is handled by every server or just a API for them all?
[19:40:22] jmjl/rizon in the latter case, there's still a SOP, in the first it'd complicate some things but would be nice
[19:40:46] jmjl/rizon It is a different service provided by one server, or can that API be spread over multiple servers (using RR for example)
[19:40:52] jmjl/rizon Single Point of Failure
[19:40:53] jmjl/rizon (ops
[19:41:04] jmjl/rizon I meant SPF not SOP, but I think I read sop somewhere
[19:42:20] jmjl/rizon it could
[19:42:22] jmjl/rizon make watchdogs
[19:42:43] jmjl/rizon Syncthing is nice
[19:43:07] jmjl/rizon but it might take some time to sync so yeah
[19:43:09] jmjl/rizon that's true
[19:43:38] jmjl/rizon yeah that's true, the server's doing the sasl part
[19:44:16] jmjl/rizon if you want to implement new things that's a bit hard, as you have to update all of the servers at once?
[19:45:29] jmjl/rizon ^ That'd be nice
[19:45:58] jmjl/rizon Like having it pull some command toml/json/yaml that has the commands and the api endpoints
[19:46:03] jmjl/rizon !bang
[19:46:05] jmjl/rizon !bang
[19:46:07] jmjl/rizon !reload
[19:46:13] jmjl/rizon !rearm Valware
[19:46:51] jmjl/rizon Valware: but make it so that implementers can't be lazy
[19:47:38] jmjl/rizon so like let's encrypt is doing with some of their json things, where they create a random key value pair so you don't make your code specific to expect a json object in a specific format (by that I mean reading it like a string in a higher level)
[19:47:47] jmjl/rizon Valware: sync between unreal and solanum?
[19:48:20] jmjl/rizon ^ that'd be pretty easy with the API you wanted to make
[19:48:28] jmjl/rizon Just create a second api to create bots
[19:48:34] jmjl/rizon oh that's not really that hard
[19:48:53] jmjl/rizon just make a processor that processes some json, and make the web ui do that
[19:48:53] jmjl/rizon oh
[19:49:24] jmjl/rizon Yes, I mean the processor for the pseudoserver
[19:49:37] jmjl/rizon let me check if I have a remains of what was a bot a while ago
[19:49:42] jmjl/rizon * pseudoserver
[19:55:26] jmjl/rizon not really
[19:55:56] jmjl/rizon I administer it
[19:56:09] jmjl/rizon dns I do administer two dns servers
[19:56:41] jmjl/rizon and technically mail, but until I get mailman3 installed I won't add it probably
[19:56:58] jmjl/rizon Valware: would you consider the latex format a programming language?
[19:58:55] jmjl/rizon it allows coding
[19:59:13] jmjl/rizon true
[19:59:16] jmjl/rizon it's the code+data
[19:59:32] jmjl/rizon and when used with a compiler (the program that makes it a pdf) it runs
[19:59:38] jmjl/rizon but it doesn't create programs
[19:59:42] jmjl/rizon so yeah
[20:01:56] jmjl/rizon true I guess
[20:09:27] jmjl/rizon Oh, the header files (in C) are just the first line of the function (the line that says I'm a function), am I correct on that?, if so, would the same still apply in C++?
[20:11:16] jmjl/rizon so my custom API would accept logging you from another server, (which would be in the same backend) on all servers connected?, a bit weird, and the part my family server is so private it runs as completly separate users with separate registration would stop it so yeah, but it could technically be done if you run a modified server
[20:14:13] jmjl/rizon Valware: and IRC disallows Bob and bob to exist I think, at least on unreal :P
